BRIC-NBRC Opens Faculty Recruitment for Senior Scientist Roles

BRIC-NBRC invites applicants for faculty roles such as Scientist-V/Additional Professor to engage in high-level research and teaching. New faculty will get shared lab space and initial funding for research. However, they are expected to seek external funding to support their work. Faculty members will also have teaching and administrative duties as assigned by the center’s leadership.

The Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council-National Brain Research Centre (BRIC-NBRC) began in 1997 as part of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. It is a top center for neuroscience research in India. 

Location: Manesar, Haryana, India

Focus Areas: The center studies how the brain works, how we think, brain flexibility, brain imaging, brain cancer, and applying research findings in neurobiology.

Facilities: It provides advanced research tools like MRI, MEG, EEG, transcranial stimulation systems, and uses animal models for studying.

Collaborations: BRIC-NBRC partners with other research centers, universities, and hospitals both in India and internationally.

Faculty & Research: The center encourages diverse research approaches in neuroscience and hires scientists specializing in areas like systems neuroscience, neurophysiology, and brain imaging.
