Indian Institute of Management Udaipur hosted the inaugural ceremony
Indian Institute of Management Udaipur hosted the inaugural ceremony of the Second batch of its Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program for the academic year 2025-27.
The ceremony was held by Prof. Ashok Banerjee, Director of IIM Udaipur. He was joined by Prof. Vijayta Doshi, the Dean of Programs, and Prof. Amish Dugar, Chairperson of the EMBA Program Committee.
The new EMBA program has 90 students, with 27 women and 63 men. These participants come from a wide range of industries, bringing various experiences and knowledge to the program. This diversity allows students to gain insights and learn from one another's backgrounds.
Prof. Vijayta Doshi, in her address, praised the new EMBA cohort for starting an important learning journey. She stressed the importance of moving beyond personal boundaries and consistently improving skills for career advancement. She confirmed IIM Udaipur’s commitment to offering a rich education that aims to shape students into leaders with strong ethical values and forward-thinking abilities.

Prof. Banerjee emphasized that the program focuses on real-world applications. He highlighted that students will learn from the top-notch faculty who also teach in the full-time MBA programs, and they will benefit from the experiences of their peers. Continuous learning is crucial, and Prof. Banerjee called it a smart strategy in today's world.

Professor Amish Dugar addressed the group warmly, encouraging them to commit to their Executive MBA journey with enthusiasm. He introduced the 'Five Ps' as essential steps to achieve success: Prepare, Participate, Presence, Perseverance, and Pleasure. He advised participants to prepare thoroughly to make the most of the opportunity, actively engage and learn from each other, and be fully attentive in every session. Acknowledging that the program can be demanding, he stressed the importance of perseverance during tough times and reminded everyone to find joy in learning. Prof. Dugar concluded by highlighting that this two-year journey will not only sharpen their skills but also expand their networks and help them grow into capable, future-ready leaders.
The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program at IIM Udaipur is specifically designed for working professionals eager to boost their careers without pausing their current work.
